2. Generic Greetings & Mismatched Domains
While some emails look incredibly real, their sender addresses usually reveal the scam. Always check the domain after the @ sign (e.g. support@netflix-billing.com instead of support@netflix.com).
3. Requesting Sensitive Details
No legitimate organization—whether it is Netflix, your bank, or the tax office—will ever ask you to verify your password, PIN, or credit card details over an insecure email link. When in doubt, delete the email immediately.
